Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2010 Club Championship. Though Saturday's rounds were challenged by high winds, the weather was more favorable on Sunday, with the outcome of most flights not determined until the final putts were holed.

The tee placements for the 2010 Club Championship (August 21-22, 2010) are shown above. The Championship (gross) and 1st flight (net) will be playing off the tee yardages as shown. Stuart and the golf shop staff have the course marked with this weekends tee placements (white #1 (Saturday) and a red #2 (Sunday) ) for your practice rounds.
Participants will be placed into flights based on their handicap, but if you want to play up a flight you'll need to play to the maximum handicap for the higher flight. The 2nd (net) and 3rd (net) flights will be playing off of the Combo tees. We'll have the tee times posted to the website by Friday.
If you haven't signed up yet, call the golf shop (787-1800 x2) and sign up by Wednesday, August 18.

2009 Club Champion - Renny Uppal
Two Majors Down, Two to Go.
Ready to put your game to the test at the Club Championship?
The 2010 Club Championship takes place on August 21-22, 2010. The cost is $70 and includes awards and credit book for the winners. Sign-up at the clubhouse (or call 787-1800 x2) by Wednesday, August 19, 2010. Tee times will run from 7:30-9:30 am and will be posted to the website by Friday, August 20, 2010.
This year we will be offering one Gross (Championship Flight) and three Net (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Flights) Divisions. The Gross and 1st Flight will play off a new set of back tees (stay tuned for more details on the challenging tee placements). The 2010 Club Champion will be eligible to play with Stuart at the Pro-Club Champion event in the Spring of 2011.
Beat the Pros
Ever wonder how well a pro would do playing our course under Championship conditions? This year, the SMGA has convinced Stuart and Rick to put their games against ours. Wager $20 and if your 2-day net total beats the total of Stuart's gross score on Saturday and Rick's gross score on Sunday, you'll win $40 in club credit. Even if you don't beat the pros, you'll still get $20 in club credit, so you don't have anything to lose.
